Itinerary

Day 1

Guwahati Arrival - Drive to Shillong

  • Meet at the boarding point in Guwahati (airport/railway station) and embark on a relaxed journey to Shillong

  • Get to know your fellow travelers and enjoy the breathtaking views of lush green hills during the journey.

  • We will take stop at very famous Umiam Lake - Largest Man made Artificial Lake.

  • Check-in to your comfortable accommodation, freshen up, and take some time to relax

  • Enjoy your time with the travel group by visiting charming cafes in Shillong, experience the colonial charm of Meghalaya's capital, and take leisurely walks around the streets

Day 2

Shillong to Shnongpdeng

  • After having breakfast early in the morning, we will proceed towards Shnongpdeng, a place renowned for its captivating turquoise Umngot river

  • Enroute, we will visit the Krang Shuri waterfall which is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya

  • We will also visit Laitlum Canyons, a viewpoint that offers a stunning panoramic view of Meghalaya's valleys

  • Upon arrival we'll check into our riverside camps in Shnongpdeng. In the evening, we'll host a bonfire.

  • Dinner followed by an overnight stay in camps

Day 3

Water Activities at Umngot - Drive to Cherrapunji

  • After breakfast we will indulge in fun water activities like Cliff Jumping, Boating, and Snorkeling, in the sparkling river.

  • Enroute visit Mawlynnong - Asia Cleanest Village.

  • Next, we'll travel to Cherrapunji, famous for its living root bridges and the heavy rainfall it receives every year.

Day 4

Seven sister falls - Mawsami Caves - Double Decker  Bridge Trek Bridge

  • We will visit the Seven Sister Falls, a stunning waterfall consisting of seven segments cascading down a rocky cliff.

  • Later, we will visit the Mawsmai Caves, one of the most famous landmarks in Cherrapunji. These caves are made of limestone and have beautiful stalactites hanging from the roofs, creating a magical and charming atmosphere.

  • We will head out towards Tyrna Village, as a base point for the living double-decker root bridge trek

  • We will trek further to reach the magnificent. Living Roots Double-Decker Bridge, where you can capture some breathtaking pictures to cherish the beauty of the place.

  • Overnight stay in Cherrapunji

Day 5

Cherrapunji - Shillong

  • After early morning breakfast, we'll check out of our hotel and head towards Shillong

  • On our way, we will stop by the Nokalikai waterfall, which is the tallest plunge waterfall in Meghalaya, boasting an impressive height of 1,115 ft

  • We will visit Wei Swadong, a stunning three-tiered waterfall and one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya

  • Upon arrival in Shillong, we'll check in to our hotel where we will spend the night

Day 6

Shillong - Nongjrong - Guwahati

  • After early morning breakfast, we'll check out of our hotel rooms and head back to Guwahati.

  • Along the way, we will stop at Nongjrong Village situated high above the clouds.

  • Nongjrong has a breathtaking sunrise view point where clouds are filled over the valleys.

  • Arrival to Guwahati with the Beautiful memories of the trip
